der Zerfall
er hat begonnen
man spürt ihn
in den Knochen
der Zerfall
die feinen Risse
im Zerfall
ein fahles Lächeln

der Zerfall
er ist im Gange
man spürt ihn
in jedem Muskel
der Zerfall
in den Gelenken
im Zerfall
ein fahles Lächeln

»Each artist reacted to the song for herself and photographed her interpretation of the song detached from the others. Afterwards we discussed our results and conceived a series and sequence from the resulting images.«

»It was a new experience to be inspired aurally. While listening to the song "Zerfall", different impressions came up, which now - other than starting from a visual hook - first wanted to be translated into visual imagery.«

»For this collaboration, the starting point for our photographs was a completely new one, so we changed the "rules of the game" for this series. Instead of referring to the previous image in a fixed order, it was exciting to have everyone responding to the same source of inspiration.«

BIOGRAPHY

In March 2020, as regulations to contain the coronavirus became increasingly stringent, eight female photographers joined forces for a collaborative project: Hauspoststille. How to stay in creative exchange with each other despite social distance? In the style of the children's game "Silent Post," the group started a visual dialogue among themselves. Every day, one participant takes a photo and passes it on to the next, creating an ongoing chain of communication. In principle, anything can be photographed: from improvised still lifes to found objects on walks or photographs of fellow flatmates - as long as it is done within the bounds of reason in view of the pandemic situation, there are no limits to creativity. One and a half years and several changes of members later, Hauspoststille is continued by Lea Franke, Rosa Lisa Rosenberg, Lioba Kappel, Franziska Kaufhold, Luise Jakobi, Ana Maria Sales Prado, Laila Schubert and Lea Bräuer. The joint work has long since grown beyond a pure Corona project and also connects the group beyond the pandemic in creative exchange.
