wir stehen in Kontakt
über weite Distanz
du bist der Arbiter
ich priorisierter Fall

ich bin der Transmitter
sende Wellen ins Weltall
du nimmst mich in Empfang
ich hab keine Angst

das geht mir an die Substanz

ich suche Schutz
in deinem Isotop
denn ich bin gern allein
In deiner Isolation

das geht mir an die Substanz

ich lade mich hoch
ich häng hoch in der Luft
du bist ein Photon
zieh mich in deinen Strom

das geht mir an die Substanz

»When I edit images I usually do it very intuitively, experimenting with the medium and trying to find more of a feeling of what I'm projecting into the subject, rather than making an image of reality.«

»I generally carry a small digital camera with me so I can take snapshots when I see interesting things. And so I've been [...] out with my camera, looking for motifs that can be woven into the song with my ideas. I was looking for everyday motifs that contained a certain maelstrom. Something that wouldn't let you go.«

»In my first edits the motifs were still in color, but the more I started distorting the images I felt they looked more impressive in black and white and also felt more like the mood the song was creating.«

»My basic idea was to let the motifs dissolve into themselves, light becomes dark, dark becomes light, image layers blur together, the image becomes fragmented, yet remains whole.«
